Sloeberry Farm Cottages

Tucked away on another part of the farm is Crynga Mill, founded in the 1700s to make use of the natural spring to power a mill and dairy.  It sits in a sheltered spot with stunning views across the countryside, a private lake and lots of nooks and crannys to explore.

The beautiful old stone mill has now been transformed into three luxury holiday cottages.

the dairy

The Dairy itself is a traditional stone building with walls over 2ft thick and large slate flagstone floors. 

It has recently been converted to a high standard sleeping up to 10 guests.  Two large doubles and one twin room, a discrete sofa bed is also available for use in the master bedroom.

There is a large fully equipped farmhouse kitchen with open plan dining room .

A stunning lounge with large leather vintage chesterfield sofas and cosy wood burning stove (0ne of the Chesterfields converts to a sofa bed if required).

Two luxury bathrooms including the master bedroom ensuite and a separate downstairs toilet make it perfect for families and groups.

The Dairy has a large private secluded garden but also has French doors opening from the lounge onto a sunny open garden area leading to the woods and streams beyond.

The Stables

As its names suggests, The Stables is where the working horses used to be kept when not working on the farm, it maintains the stable doors and the old hay lofts are now cosy bedrooms.

It has recently been converted to a high standard providing three bedrooms (two doubles and one twin), a large farmhouse kitchen dining room and a stunning lounge (With large double sofa bed if required).

Two luxury bathrooms including the master bedroom ensuite make it perfect for families and groups.

The Stables has a large private garden to the front but also has stable doors opening onto steps down into a sunny open garden area leading to the woods and streams beyond.

The Coach house

The Coach House is a traditional stone farm building which was originally used to store the farm coaches and run the mill workings. It maintains many original features such as exposed oak beams and hay loft doors.

It has recently been converted to a high standard providing a mezzanine bedroom, ensuite luxury bathroom with power rain shower and a large open plan kitchen and lounge with large double sofa bed.

Three miles away is Cardigan Bay which was voted by Lonely Planet as the best place to be in the world right now. It's absolutely stunning with cliff walks, sandy bays, pristine National Trust beaches and small fishing villages with local pubs and restaurants.  Cardigan town is a short drive away and has an abundance of local shops, artisan bakers, pizza makers and award winning restaurants.
