Our Lodges
Our Sloeberry Farm Lodges have recently been awarded the VisitWales Gold Standard by the Welsh Government, one of the few glamping sites in Wales to be awarded this under the Quality Assured Glamping Scheme.
Uniquely designed canvas lodges offer spacious living, proper beds with luxury bedding, vintage sofas, fully equipped indoor kitchens, toasty log burners and en suite shower and toilet cabins. Just down from the raised deck each lodge also has its own private garden area with picnic table, fire pit and BBQ, all lodges have their own wood fired hot tub just outside.
Sloeberry Farm is set in 13 acres of pasture and woods, only 3 miles from the fishing village and stunning beaches of Aberporth and a short drive from the historic town of Cardigan.
Sit back. Put your feet up. Watch the sunset over the hills. Enjoy time as a family exploring, finding hidden streams or relaxing by your campfire. Look for owls swooping across the meadow as dusk settles, or head in to chat by warmth of the wood burning stove.
Outside
Beside each lodge is a private fresh water woodfired hot tub.
A raised deck area to the front of the lodge has stunning views across the coastal hills - where better to sit with a book on a summer afternoon?
Down from the deck there is a picnic table, BBQ and firepit, perfect for sitting by a crackling log fire whilst gazing at the stars across the immense inky West Wales night sky.
Cooking
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you should need including a gas hob, sink, cooking utensils, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and glassware.
Across from the kitchen area is a full size dining table great for a long lingering supper.
Sleeping
Our lodges sleep up to six or eight in Owl Lodge.
All lodges have a king size master bedroom and a king cabin bed for those that want to hide away. Owl Lodge has four single beds on an upstairs level and our other lodges have a bunk bed room downstairs. All with proper beds made up with luxurious bed linen and super warm duvets.
Everyone will be lulled to sleep by the sounds of the otter brook burbling past.
Next to the bedrooms is a shower room and separate en-suite wash room with basin and flushing toilet.
Relaxing
Our lodges are lit with low level lighting to keep it cosy, at the heart of the lodge is our wood burning stove, surrounded by vintage leather chesterfields: it will keep the lodge warm in all weathers and is the perfect spot to finish the evening.
