Cardigan Bay

West Wales and Cardigan Bay

Three miles away is Cardigan Bay,  voted by Lonely Planet as best place to be in the world right now, it is absolutely stunning with cliff walks, sandy bays, pristine National Trust beaches and small fishing villages with local pubs and restaurants.  Cardigan town is a short drive away and has an abundance of local shops, artisan bakers, pizza makers and award winning restaurants.

We're lucky enough to be surrounded by the beautiful beaches of Cardigan Bay. The nearest is Aberporth 2.5 miles away through some country lanes, there are ten more all within a 15 minute drive.

The coastal path

The area is famed for outdoor pursuits such as coasteering, surfing, sea kayaking, sailing, mountain biking and walking. It's known as the best location in the UK to spot dolphins, puffins and rare wildlife.

Although no longer a working farm we're surrounded by farms that have been here since the 1700s so quite often we have goats, sheep or cows looking over the fence at us.

Historic Cardigan, is about a ten minute drive away, traditionally where goods were shipped to the New World, now all of the historic building have been converted into galleries, shops and restaurants.
